John W. Weingardt, CPA

John W. Weingardt, CPA, is a shareholder of PSW with over 35 years’ experience in public accounting. His public accounting experience has been with a national CPA firm as well as a sole practitioner. John’s experience has an emphasis in taxation, closely held businesses, estate planning, and exit planning for business owners.
During John’s time at PSW, he has assisted his clients with their tax and small business consulting needs. John is skilled in all phases of the entrepreneurial journey from the formation, tax saving strategies, profit improvement, and the eventual sale and monetization of the business owner’s interest in the business.
Education and Associations
John is a graduate cum laude from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s of science in accounting, economics, and business administration. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of CPA’s. John also has his Series 7, Series 63, and insurance licenses.
John is active in politics in the City of Fishers. He currently serves as a City Councilor and is chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. He is on the board of directors of Launch Fishers, an entrepreneurial work place in Fishers, board member of the Fishers Police Foundation, and a board member of the Riverview Health Foundation. In his spare time he enjoys classic car collecting and spending time with family and friends.
John lives in Fishers Indiana with his wife of 35 years, Tina. John has three children. Ashley (Chris); Abby (Ben), and John. John also has three grandchildren (Ellie, Quinn, and Clara).
